Before you proceed, please read the NISEKO RULES:

Niseko Rules

Areas marked in red on the Trail Map are deemed strictly off limits by the Niseko Rules, these are dangerous areas and must not be entered under any circumstances. Always use the gates to enter out of bounds areas. Please see the back side for gate descriptions. Please respect the Niseko Rules to ensure off-piste freedom and safety.

  1. “Haru no taki” and “Yu no sawa” areas (marked in red) are strictly off limits at all times.
  2. Crossing boundary ropes is prohibited. Those who violate the rules may be refused from using all resort facilities.
  3. There is no safety control or ski patrol beyond the resort boundaries.
  4. Do not enter out of bounds areas when gates are closed.
  5. The “Niseko Avalanche Information” is the official daily info of the Niseko Rules.
  6. Special charges will be applied for out of bounds search and rescue.
  7. Ski patrols instructions must be obeyed.
  8. Children under 12 must refrain from entering out of bounds areas unless accompanied by a proficient adult leader.
  9. Respect the Niseko Rules- the resort and local community’s official regulations created for the safety and freedom of all resort users.
