Niseko’s impressive development continues at Grand Hirafu!
The new Mountain Center Annex will open for business on December 7th, 2019. Situated in the perfect location, both adjacent to the Hirafu Gondola Station and right in front of the beginner-friendly Holiday Pair Lift, it allows for direct access to the slopes. Niseko Grand Hirafu’s plan for this new building is to focus on creating the best guest experience possible, for both international and Japanese visitors alike.
1st floor with a reception desk and locker rooms
The Mountain Center Annex is a large, 2 story building at the base of the slopes. The first floor will feature a public area, snow school reception desk, changing rooms and locker rooms. A much-needed addition for peak season at the Hirafu gondola base. Moreover, the second floor will boast a large-scale ski and snowboard rental shop. This shop will have a floor area of 802 square meters and will hold over 3,000 items.

In addition, a newly-installed “Japan Brand” corner showcases domestic brands including Ogasaka Ski and BLASTRACK, as well as local Niseko brands ROKO SKI and GENTEMSTICK. The Moutain Center Annex’s rental shop will hold a comprehensive array of products that are designed to be enjoyed by both domestic and overseas visitors. The Annex will also launch an overnight holding service for rental items so that guests can go back and forth to their accommodation completely hands-free. Furthermore, with a coffee stand, the Mountain Center Annex also provides the chance to spend a moment of relaxation before or after hitting the slopes.

To further increase guests’ experiences, Grand Hirafu has also launched an online reservation site from the beginning of October 2019. Both in English and Japanese, you can book rental equipment and ski lessons ahead of time on your computer or smartphone. Visit the Niseko Grand Hirafu Resort website for more details.
